Project Background

Meridian Financial Group, a Fortune 500 investment management firm, was undertaking a complete renovation of their 22-floor New York City headquarters. As part of the renovation, Meridian's leadership wanted to create a world-class digital experience that would impress clients, reinforce brand authority, and improve operational efficiency for their 3,200 employees.

The project brief called for a landmark lobby installation, an enterprise-wide room booking and wayfinding system, and a unified content management platform that the internal communications team could operate without IT involvement. Meridian had previously worked with two other AV integrators on smaller projects and found the experience fragmented — they wanted a single partner who could own the entire digital signage scope from design through ongoing support.

Our Solution

Coffman Media's design team worked alongside Meridian's architectural firm to engineer a 12×4 direct-view LED video wall using Absen NX2.5 panels — chosen for their 2.5mm pixel pitch, which delivers stunning 4K resolution at typical lobby viewing distances. The structural installation required custom steel mounting fabrication and coordination with the building's structural engineers to ensure load compliance.

For the enterprise room booking system, we deployed Crestron room scheduling panels at all 120 meeting rooms, integrated with Meridian's Microsoft 365 environment. Wayfinding displays were installed at every elevator bank on all 22 floors, pulling real-time directory data from the firm's HR system.

All systems were connected through a secure, VLAN-isolated network with end-to-end encryption, satisfying Meridian's compliance requirements. The content management platform was configured with role-based access controls, allowing the communications team to manage lobby content while IT retained administrative oversight.
